Aizen Stands! Horrible Ambitions - Bleach Episode 61 Reaction

Just want to say people defending Urahara here is so unnecessary and I think it's just character bias plus hindsight at play. Suzy is supposed to see him as a guy who shamelessly used Rukia and her friends at this point (and to be fair he did, it was not at all justified), you guys shouldn't correct that belief she is just reacting how she should be. The show will change her mind about Urahara after this without you saying anything, and that's how her reactions should be.
I remember feeling the exact same way the first time I watched Bleach. The only difference with my reaction was that I wasn't sure if Aizen was telling the truth or not, being the evil genius and all. He could have just as easily been lying to turn Icigo against him for all I knew at the time. Of course, knowing the full story now I know that is not how Aizen operates.
No, Urahara screwed up majorly people are just candy coating this. Stay in the human world forever?? That's not what Rukia wanted, that's just what Urahara wanted so he could hide the Hogyoku. Rukia has a life in Soul Society too. He completely used, deceived, and betrayed Rukia and friends, wdym he did nothing wrong??? No way people are defending that. Even he knows he fucked up, you will see that shortly.
Good people sometimes do awful things, such is life. It was not wrong to want to hide the Hogyoku from evil hands, but he didn't have to betray and use people who trusted him to do that. His gamble with Rukia didn't even work either, so he betrayed them and also failed to hide the Hogyoku to make matters worse. And people bringing up Aizen... why? Suzy knows Aizen is evil, he is textbook evil it's obvious. Aizen being evil has nothing to do with Urahara using them, they are not mutually exclusive.

Well Kisuke did do some shady things, but he is not evil. Let's just say he is objective and not above making a few sacrifices for the greater good. Besides, Aizen is more evil for manipulating events for this to happen, betray the soul society, and plenty more yet to come.
She will see his true colors soon enough, at this point anime wants you to think he is a dick so her reaction is warranted. And to be fair, he WAS a dick for deceiving and using them all. And you say "greater good" but he has nothing to show for it, Aizen found the Hogyoku anyway. Even if he had succeeded in keeping it hidden, that's no excuse to deceive and use Rukia like that. Urahara is a genius, there were other ways to hide it. Also she didn't compare him to Aizen, idk why Aizen is relevant to this. Aizen can be super evil AND Urahara messed up. Both are true, it's not always "good guys can do no wrong". Bleach has more layers than that at times and is not so black and white, which is refreshing.

LOL, that book is demonic. I think part of the issue is it's not like she can see how the words are spelled without subtitles, so she has to guess. And she doesn't like subbed or subtitles (which is fine). Maybe she could turn on subs after the episode and check a scene for a name spelling? She will get many of the names eventually though I think, it's a long series.
