Also, regarding that remark about Master Shen/Crane-bitch hanging around playgrounds: He really does give off that kind of vibe, doesn’t he? Roshi likes the ladies, Shen probably likes the kiddies. I mean, just look at his perpetually-leering face! That’s the face of a sick bastard if I’ve ever seen one. (Whether or not it’s an established thing that Shen is a pedo, I don’t know. It certainly fits him, though.) God he’s truly insufferable.
Krillin’s a fucking boss. He’s never far behind Goku, especially considering the fact that Goku tends to pick up a lot of special training that Krillin either doesn’t get or doesn’t get at the same time. If they were on exactly the same page, they’d be even closer in skill and power. Sooo good. They’re both so awesome. (And yes, Yamcha is too. As you’ve already acknowledged, Yamcha’s biggest weakness isn’t really any part of himself, but rather The Plot. The Plot loves to screw over otherwise-capable characters at really obnoxious times. The Plot is a dick.)
Dragonball is beautiful! So glad Suzy sees that. It’s not just fighting. It’s so good. Especially from these episodes on forward.
