Suzy did anything in this episode remind you of the Naruto War arc? Let's recap the title of this episode has Ginkaku and Kinkaku which means Gold and Silver, there's 2 dudes called Gold and Silver and they have a magic gourd that sucks people into it for all eternity and then it gets used against them?....
The gourd might be a little similar to you if you remember the one from the Naruto War Arc.
Just saying, the Funimation trailer for Dragon Ball Z Kai advertises the show as all action, no filler.
This gourd and those two characters are based off an Asian mythology of origin I do not actually know. Another interpretation was used in Naruto Shippuden during the 4th Great Ninja War.
These characters look something right out Mad Max
Fun Fact: While this episode is filler, it's based on another adventure Son Wukong had in the old Chinese story Journey to the West. The story that initially inspired Dragon Ball.
