Javelinas (Peccaries) are a small pig-like critter that are native to the southwest/mexico. They look a lot like pigs but they're not.
Hotsauce is a pretty common condiment on scrambled eggs and stuff for breakfast.
in new mexico every meal has either hot sauce, hatch geen chilies or both.
This episode is actually my favorite episode of the entire show. Much of the reason is probably the conversation they have regarding treatment. Very well written and incredibly well acted.
