Yajirobe isn't really at the Goku and Tien tier of power (Goku still wasn't at 100%. He's eaten but he hasn't rested, so he's better but not at full), but he's stronger than Krillin and Yamcha.

I don't know if you caught this a few episodes ago ( cause you were talking during this ) but Launch said to Tien: " I can tell you like me , Tien!" It was a little before the Krillin situation happened. Since then, Tien has been turning red when Launch speaks to him.
I like the detail they put in Bulma's appearance in the first episode she looked like a teenager now its been 4 years and she 100% looks like a 20 year old woman
Yajirobe is impressive with how he can hold off Goku. He just never joined the tournament or else he’d do well.
