I can understand why you don't want to watch Boruto as there are a lot of fillerish episodes. But I think you should react to the Boruto Movie. It is good and gives you a glimpse as to what happens after Naruto.
@Shadowx She will watch it just not anytime soon. The Boruto movie will be included in the Boruto series so it's better of she didn't watch that one. Maybe the ova but even that will be in the series.

I think the day naruto became hokage would be more fitting for an ending, plus the boruto movie is a whole arc in the anime
