In Japanese Kami means God, so in Japan they were basically telling Goku to meet God
And to add on. Kame means tortoise or turtle. Roshi is the turtle hermit. Living at turtle house with his turtle destruction wave attack. Not Kami… Kame.
well on google kami means spirit / god so i dont know what you are talking about . And his name in dragon ball is Kami and not Kame
