Goku vs. Krillin - Dragon Ball Episode 95 Reaction

For some reason, I was thinking there was a dub that had a new script that was closer to the original Japanese (not to be confused with the Remastered Dub), but used the original English Rock music. This was like a early home video release when Hell wasn't changed to Home of Eternal Loosers or whatever it was. So I am thinking there was the Ocean, Funimation Original, Funimation Script Change with Rock Music, and Funimation Remastered. I may be totally off on this. But I seem to think that on the DVD, there was the option to select between English with Japanese music and English with English Rock music. It's been a long time since I even saw that, though, I watched originally on Toonami, then borrowed the VHS from a friend, then got the DBZ Blu-Rays, then Kai
I think Suzy should try the Dragonball Z Digitally Remastered DVDs dub. It’s a step above the original, somewhat cheesy toonami dub with the Bruce Falconer soundtrack. The Digitally Remastered DVDs keep the original Japanese soundtrack. At least that’s my opinion. I don’t know
Bruce Faulconer IS dbz. the japanese soundtrack has nothing on bruce, especially in the intense moments
I think this is what I am thinking of, the better script but with the English Rock Music

I know you've made your decision on what version of Z you are going to watch Suzy, but as a few people have already pointed out, just have in consideration that the Dub in Kai is far superior to the original, talking about the English translation. Some of the original dialogue is flat out incorrect from the original Japanese, not all, but good chunk of it. Just keep that in mind.
Original Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z is pretty bad, most of japanese dialogue aren't translated well, some lines are completly changed or just made up, but Dragon Ball Z Kai dub is much better, almost all japanese dialogue translated correctly.
Didn't they dub DBZ before they dubbed DB? I bet that is why. I agree, there are things I didn't like in the Funimation DBZ, or that I was confused about. When I got to Kai, there were actually entire story arks I was debating on skipping because I hated them so much in DBZ, but turned into some of my favorite episodes in Kai
Personally for me I prefer Kai sense the animation soundtrack and dialogue is better but I can understand watching the original
The original version doesn't have real dialogue. Kai has the real dialogue and all the dragon ball references. Unfortunately original dbz dub have fake dialogue that never happened and they don't reference dragon ball very well.
