Edward Norton is more comic accurate in every way, but because of his bad attitude and unrealistic demands he was let go for personal reasons and was replaced.

Great reaction and for the record I personally greatly enjoy the banter between the two of you. The story behind this movie is as follows. Before Marvel was bought by Disney they had already sold the movie rights to a bunch of their popular characters to other studios. They sold the Hulk to Universal Studios. This meant that while Disney was allowed to use the character, Universal had the right of first refusal on any project that stared the character as a solo hero. The Incredible Hulk is an M.C.U. movie but it is the only M.C.U. movie not made by Disney.

They recast Edward Norton because he was VERY HARD to work with (and I think was demanding too much money?). Just miserable. It's the same reason Rhodey gets recast iirc.
The Edward recast was dumb. They should have given him MORE money and more creative control. Also, the Rhodey recast was garbage. I like the original actor.
