Dont agree, for cool fights and hype moments sure, but original soundtrack is better for overall fights and emotional moments.
Suzy, I'd like to chime in on this whole conversation on what version of DBZ you should watch and for everyone to listen. Firstly, I'm not here to disrespect anyone's opinion or judge their preferred way of watching Dragon Ball, nor should my word be taken as absolute. That said, I'm not sure what version of DBZ is available on the current popular streaming platforms, but I am highly against watching the remastered version of DBZ that was printed on the “Orange Bricks” as they are called. Those were poorly produced image-wise, and have picture-quality issues that include but not limited to, cropping of image, oversaturated or incorrect color, and art-lines completely removed due to the “remastering process” Funimation underwent at the time. Instead, I instead recommend watching the Funimation Blu-ray release version of DBZ where these issues are not very apparent. Also Suzy, if you truly want DBZ to feel and sound like what you have been watching at this point, watch the English dub but with the original Japanese soundtrack/Kikuchi score. I know a lot of people here grew up with the original American broadcast version that had the Bruce Faulconer score as did I, but let's be real here, this is purely a nostalgia thing. There is nothing wrong with that, nor with this music, it had lots of great bangers, but I myself have grown out of watching DBZ with this soundtrack, and think the original music makes for a more entertaining and authentic viewing experience. The argument that DBZ would not have been as successful without the Faulconer soundtrack here in the west is illogical, as it is the only one to have done that and Dragon Ball is a massive success worldwide with the original music intact. Plus, this is Suzy's own first-time viewing, whom not only is not resident to America, but does not have to abide to our nostalgia since it is not her own. At the end of the day though, the ultimate decision is hers. I just wanted to point these things out and share it with you all. Thank you.

gotta do the funimation bluray’s and make sure to switch it to the english broadcast version in audio menu or whatever its called, this is mainly neccessary because finding a good copy of the dbz english bruce falconer dub is hard you cant watch on ANY streaming service as far as im aware but based of what ive seen and having an idea of her personality she will resonate with and love this version the most, ocean will not hit for her and neither will the japanese soundtrack, im quite confident about this.
Not sure where you're getting this since she's been hearing the Japanese soundtrack this entire time and it's been resonating and hitting her very well.

Since you're doing dbz in english just do bruce falconer score. More successful overall and gets the most loyal fans based on experience I have with other reactors doing ENG VS Sub. just my perspective look into it all and make a good decision based on facts if at all possible. It's still a business after all.
